Centerboards and Rudders

The T2 points as well or better than just about any multihull or monohull on the market. Her secret? A kick-up swing centerboard that extends 4' 3" providing excellent directional stability. The T2 easily sails to within 30°-35° of the wind.  With a turn of a winch handle, the centerboard swings up reducing the T2's draft to a shallow 1'; perfect for shallow anchorages and hard-to-reach areas. The under-hanging, kick-up rudder extends 3' 3" under the stern and turns the T2 on a dime. She's incredibly well balanced requiring only a light-hand on the tiller with little to no weather helm.
