Comfort - The T2 Cockpit
The T2's cockpit is specifically designed around the
helmsman with an unrestricted 360º view and easy access
to all sheets, halyards, and Lewmar 40 AST Convertible self-tailing winches. With everything at hand,
the T2 is an easy boat to sail even single-handed. For the
skipper seeking the ultimate in control, the optional electronics
package includes Raymarine Wind Speed and Tri-Data instruments,
and/or the Raymarine 1000 tiller pilot.
For absolute comfort and a great view, grab ahold of
the optional tiller extension and sit back on the stern rail seat as
you gauge your course. Take in some shade with the optional canvas
canopy. In the event of rain, the T2's interior stays dry and comfortable
with the optional canvas/isinglass dodger. You and your crew will also
appreciate the T2's remarkably dry cockpit. Even in substantial chop
and with winds over 30 knots, the T2's design virtually eliminates
spray and wash. The cockpit can comfortably accommodate up to 4 sailors
while the link shelves and solid outrigger deck’s provide plenty
of extra seating area.
Moving forward on the T2 is easy thanks to the molded
steps and recessed hand rails on the main deck. In addition, the foldable
link shelves and solid outrigger decks provide a solid pathway as well
as a comfortable area for sail handling, sunbathing, or even temporary
